Dr. Brisman served as a resident in the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Department from 1998-2001. He was then appointed Chief Resident in July 2001 and completed his training in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in 2002.
Dr.Brisman then entered private practice as an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon and opened his office Eastside Oral Surgery, pllc in 2004.
Dr.Brisman has served as faculty in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department at New York University College of Dentistry and as an attending at Maimonides Medical Center.
He is a member of American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, New York State Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association, and the William F. Harrigan Alumni Association.
Dr. Brisman has been awarded “America’s Top Dentist” by The Guide to America’s Top Dentist, Consumers’ Research Council of America from 2005-2010. He also has been selected as one of the Top Doctors & Dentists in New York 2011 by the prestigious Top Doc New York as seen on channel Fox 5.
Being the son and grandson of dentists, Dr. Brisman prides himself on treating patients like they were family and does everything in his power to provide safe, painless treatment to all his patients.
